So today
my bike and myself by the way were in good company of the SRCC (Santa Rosa Cycling
Club) of which I am a newly member.
The ride started today in Healdsburg, which is at the northern end of the Sanoma Valley and would take us to Calistoga, which in turn is the northern end of Napa Valley. The ride is 52 miles (83 km) and the track is mostly flat with some rolling hills really good for a group ride and we made some really fun pulls.
Calistoga, which marked our turning point, is famous for its wine (has its own Appelation) and hot springs.
Also it has the "Old Faithful Geyser of California" in the middle of the Town, which I had the time to have a look at after the ride (http://www.oldfaithfulgeyser.com/).
The back route through Franz Valley was really nice and I am sorry that there are no pictures, but the battery of the camera went empty.
